Bredonborough.

Rising to darker, Autumnal mornings and WillyFred, in a fury of excitement, anticipating his breakfast banana.

Into the Cellar for morning reading.

Practice for Performance
:: Posted by Ornate_Coal_Man on September 28, 2012
… the great Johnny Smith (who is 92 years old and still with us!)… At some point in the mid 1980s, Mr. Smith apparently put down his guitar and literally never ever picked it up again. For any reason. Goodbye meant goodbye. I asked how someone of that stature could give up even practicing, and I was told, "you have to know John. He is an absolute perfectionist. For him, there is no point to practicing for practicing sake". Basically, tinkering and plunking about at anything less than absolute optimal levels (i.e., practicing for performance) was never an option. So, he gave it all up and never returned to it again.

The same was the case with Semprini.

An afternoon of domestic organizing, practicing, paper organizing, and now in the cellar computerizing.

20.07    A call from the Minx in Sheffield, in good shape for tonight’s show.

E-flurrying and computerizing. Enough! Enough!

An evening practicing ahead.
